Specialty Coffee - Deal to Give Queens Coffee Maker Double Shot

Fast-growing Shock Coffee partnered with one of the nation’s largest roasters and distributors in a deal to help the Queens-based company expand.

Best known for its “hyper-caffeinated” coffee brewed in convenience stores and specialty coffee shops, Shock tapped Concord, N.C.-based S&D Coffee Inc. to roast and distribute its beans because of its vast distribution network, Shock founder and President Jeffrey Rosen said.

“It’s kind of like a marriage made in heaven,” he said. “With their distribution network, they’re going to bring us to the next level.”
