Bialetti

Bodum

The company was first established in Denmark, in 1944. They are the creators of the Santos coffeemaker, based on a vacuum brewing system. But it was not until 1974 that they produced the first French coffee press, under the brand name Bistro. Bistro's main competitor is the French Press Coffee Maker from BonJour. BonJour

In 1995 the BonJour Company from the USA introduced the French Press Coffee Maker. It was very successful on the market. The Wall Street Journal honored BonJour Company as the most innovative in the housewares industry. One important innovation is the thermally insulated French press, Triomphe. Bunn

The Bunn-O-Matic Corporation, located in Springfield, Illinois, was started in 1957. Bunn invented the first paper filter, the first pour-over coffee maker and the first drip coffee maker. However, they are also widely known for their quality coffee grinders. See www.bunnomatic.com.

Cuisinart
